Same-Day Sick Visits in Raleigh, NC
Same-day sick visits in Raleigh, NC, are built into our schedule every day at Right Care Family Medicine for established patients who need to be seen quickly. When something flares up, it shouldn’t take two weeks to be seen: bring us the colds that aren’t getting better, the rashes that just appeared, the minor injuries, and the things you’d rather not put off until your next physical.

What Is Acute & Same-Day Care?
Acute care covers new, non-life-threatening illnesses and minor injuries that need attention soon. Right Care Family Medicine offers same-day and next-day appointments for established patients, so you can be seen by a doctor who already knows your history and current conditions.

Frequently Asked Questions About Acute & Same-Day Care
Do I need to be an established patient to be seen for a sick visit?
Yes. Same-day sick visits are for established patients. New patients should request a first visit online or give us a call. If you’re sick today and not yet established with us, urgent care is usually the right choice while you wait for that first appointment.
What if I call and there are no same-day slots?
We do our best to get every sick patient seen the same day or the next morning. If we can’t, we’ll help you decide whether to wait or seek care at an urgent care center or ER.
Can I do a sick visit by phone or video?
For some concerns, yes. Telehealth visits work well for things like medication refills, follow-ups, mild respiratory infections, and other low-acuity concerns. We’ll let you know whether your situation needs an in-person visit when you call.
